QUESTION 3: What stories or memories does this text stir in me? QUESTION 4: What is God up to in this text? Reflection: It is the solemn and holy day of Good Friday. It might seem strange, but this is one of my favorite days. Reflecting on the work Jesus did on the cross is important to me, especially on this day. I have great memories of Good Friday Community Breakfasts, noon-time services, Tenebrae worship, and watching “The Passion of the Christ.” Each of these caused me to pause and reflect on the meaning of this day. As this day comes to a close, we know what will happen soon. Christ, be with us, in our sorrow and grief. --Chad Hershberger
