Reading: James 4: 11-12
Once, I heard something that I thought was pretty profound. Someone said to me that words are like toothpaste. Once they are out of the container, you can't put them back in. What a true piece of wisdom! When we say something, we can never take the words back. We can never undo what we say. We can apologize and say we are sorry for our words, but we cannot erase our speech.
God tells us not to say bad things. When we speak against someone we are going against what God wants us to do. We have no right to condemn others, according to scripture.
