Reflection: This is probably a familiar passage to you. It’s Mary’s Magnificant. Lots of songs have been based on these words of the mother of our Lord. A particular favorite of mine is “The Canticle of the Turning.”
This is Mary’s song of praise. When I read this, I wondered what my song of praise to God might be. If I were to write my own personal Magnificant, what would I say? What would I say to God?
Ponder what your Magnificant would be today. How will you praise God with words and deeds? --Chad Hershberger
