Reflection: At first glance you would think this passage is a “piece of cake.” Well…it isn’t. Or you might say, it’s all a matter of common sense. But it’s not. So much is going on in our lives and our world that counteracts everything we are taught in these verses.
So what do we do? Or say? Well, we must pray…fervently…that God will continue to guide us and strengthen us and that the power of His love will become more evident. As faithful children of God we must continue to uphold His laws which, simply stated, tell us to love God and love others. --Alice Yeakel
