Reflection: I have always enjoyed the parable of the lost sheep because in many ways, it reminds me a lot of myself. In today’s world, there have been so many times that I’ve gone astray. I’ve lost my focus on what was really important and began to become selfish about many things I wanted and didn’t have. I did this instead of cherishing the things I already had. I especially let evil into my heart when I became aggravated at not getting what I want. Most of all, there was a time in my life that I lost my faith. I was truly a lost sheep, but with the help of God, I was found again when got helped me through the dark times. God used my family and friends to show me how much they loved me. So, when I’m feeling lost in the world, I think of this parable. I just like how it speaks to me and how I can relate to it. --Avery Lentz
