Reflection: The Psalmist spends most of Psalm 29 describing the mightiness of the Lord and calling for us to glorify and worship him. In the last verse, however, we hear, May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace! (v. 11)
This year, I hope to keep my mind set on how mighty God is and my heart set on worshiping Him. My prayer is for strength and peace. That sounds short and simple! I know the year will get overwhelming and complicated but with strength and peace, we can make it through. --Ruth Gates
