Reading: Luke 6: 38
This week, during our American Camp Association accreditation visit, I re-read the sign that we have in our cabins called "The Cabin Commandments." One of the first things on the sign says, "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you."
It reminded me that my dad, when he was a funeral director, belonged to an organization called the International Organization of the Golden Rule. As a child, I remember his having bookmarks at this business with the phrase, "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you." What a great rule to live by. We should act towards others the way we would want them to treat us. Keep that rule in your heart and you will live a good life! --Chad Hershberger, Camp Mount Luther Director
