Reflection: When I read these verses, I thought immediately of myself. There are so many things that I think to myself, “Oh, I’ll get that started tomorrow.” Or maybe my inner voice says, “I’ll eat healthier tomorrow.”
Often, I know that I should do something now or make a change in my life for the better. But, I wait. My spirit may be willing, but my flesh is weak. I don’t want that donut to go to waste!
This verse reminded me that I should rely on God to help me to put away my ways of the flesh. Think more with a spiritual mind. Know my body is God’s temple. Don’t put it off! --Chad Hershberger
