Reflection: There is a little children's book published in 1988 called, The Grandpa Tree. The opening page begins:
"One day a bird was flying through the sky with a small seed in its mouth when a moth flew by. The bird dropped the seed and caught the moth. The seed fell to the ground, the rains came, and the seed began to grow."
The story continues, describing the life of the seed to seedling to tree to more seeds to more trees. Our seeds of kindness may seem small and insignificant as we drop them along life's path. But as kindness grows, it can make a significant difference.
