Reflection: How many times have we prayed for folks who are sick and suffering? Lots, I’m sure. That is something we do. But I’m struck by James’ take. The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise them up. So, why do we pray? Why do we anoint? Because in and through our prayers God is busy raising people up. Wow!
How does that work, you might ask? Beats me. I just know it is so. Keep praying.
