Reflection: In this passage, we are reminded of mercy. Mercy is shown to us by God who accepts us, despite our sinful nature. And, we are to show mercy to others.
I was reading another devotional resource today and the author of that devotion reminded me that we should make love the law of our life. I was thinking about a situation I’ve been dealing with in my life and how maybe I should show some more love and mercy toward a person who is causing the strife in my life. Maybe that would make the situation better for both of us.
