Reading: I Peter 2: 9-10
Reflection: As Christians, we are God's chosen people. We have been called out of darkness and into His marvelous light through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Our salvation is in Jesus who died on the cross for our sins. Different denominations of Christians talk about how you become "saved." Many believe that it is through baptism that you are cleansed and become a child of God. Others feel you need to be "born again" by having a conversion experience and asking Jesus into your heart. Still others may have a christening where a child is presented before the church congregation. So which is right? Scripture tells us that to have eternal life, all we need to do is believe in Jesus Christ. But Jesus himself said we must "repent, believe, and be baptized." At the same time, he told Nicodemus that you must be "born again." I think there is room for different interpretations. I think it is most important that we all believe in C
