QUESTION 3: What stories or memories does this text stir in me? QUESTION 4: What is God up to in this text? Reflection: Well, we are almost half way through the month of January. Many folks make a New Year’s resolution at the beginning of this month to try to improve their life for the year. I heard on the radio just the other day that by two weeks in, most people have abandoned their resolutions. How are you doing? If your resolution was about treating your body better or getting healthier, maybe this passage will help you. St. Paul is reminding us that our bodies are given to us by God and we should take care of them. I also recently read about how amazing our bodies really are. They do things that no human invention can do better. So, take care of your bodies. And, if you’ve fallen off the wagon for one of your resolutions, today is a great day to get back on! --Chad Hershberger, Camp Mount Luther Director
