Reflection: The LORD restores. Not a lottery ticket. Not a clean bill of health. Not a big game win. Simply, the LORD restores.
Then we rejoice. Not just scream in disbelief. Not just sigh in relief of the miracle cure. Not just celebrate with abandon as if the championship is all that matters.
Because the rejoicing that comes from being restored can be in the midst of little or plenty, sickness or health, losing or winning.
So the Psalmist is praying for the LORD, who is our refuge at all times, to restore His people. Rejoice and be glad. Come what may.
